IN THE HEART OF THE POCONOS
Stargazer Cottage is located on the Northern Shore of Lake Naomi, the site of Camp Owaissa, a camp for girls that operated every summer from 1916 until 1966.
Today, our cottage is nestled in the family-oriented Lake Naomi community of Pocono Pines, PA, on one the state’s largest private lakes. We are less than two hours’ drive from both Philadelphia and New York City.
We are 15 minutes from Pennsylvania’s top ski resorts, water parks, outlet shopping, and Pocono Raceway. The resort towns of Jim Thorpe and East Stroudsburg are nearby, as well as Delaware Water Gap and Hickory Run State Park, offering some of the best outdoor activities in the Northeast.
We are members of the Lake Naomi Club and are able to obtain Temporary Member passes for a limited number of guests (for an additional fee). The Club offers seven sand beaches, a beach club, three pools, a fitness center, two clubhouse restaurants, 18 soft surface tennis courts, a golf course, pickleball, boat rentals, and year-round events.
